ANHW Detroit Event - Tour of the Cranbrook House and Dinner

Hello Detroit Area Harvard Alumnae:

I am excited to announce our second Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women (ANHW) Detroit event!

We will meet at 12:45pm on September 29th to tour the Cranbrook House which is located at: 380 Lone Pine Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.  (The tour will begin promptly at 1:00pm.)  The Cranbrook House and Gardens website states that:

"Cranbrook House is an Arts and Crafts-style masterpiece designed by renowned Detroit architect, Albert Kahn for the visionary couple that founded Cranbrook, George Gough Booth and Ellen Scripps Booth. The Booths commissioned the finest artisans, craftsmen and studios of the period to furnish their 1908 English Tudor estate. Take a guided tour and step back in time to a golden era of craftsmanship, viewing handcrafted furniture, tapestries, tiles, stained and leaded glass, and other works of fine and decorative art."

Tickets for the tour can be purchased at: https://www.housegardens.cranbrook.edu/events/2019-09/cranbrook-house-tour-11

Tickets are limited.  So, please reserve yours as soon as possible.

Immediately after the tour, we will have an early dinner at the Rusty Bucket restaurant which is located at: 42874 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.

Please let me know if you plan to attend the tour and/or dinner by sending an email to anhwdetroit@gmail.com by September 21st.

I look forward to seeing everyone soon! Dawn Marshall
